Carol's White Chili
 

A McLeod family favorite thanks to Becky Parton!!

4 cans White Northern Beans
4 cans chicken broth
3 chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
1/2 bag of grated cheese
1 package Taco seasoning mix
1 small can green chilis

Put all in crock pot and cook on high for about 2-3 hours. Garnish with sour cream and more cheese. We love it with tortilla chips as well.

 

 

 
Melissa's German Apple Pancake
 

1 cup flour
1/2 t. baking powder
1 cup milk
5 eggs
3-4 apples peeled and thinly sliced
2 T. brown sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Preheat pie
plate in oven while you make batter. Stir
flour and baking powder together. Beat
in milk. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Spray
heated pie plate with cooking spray. Pour
in batter and add apples in a layer. Sprinkle
with sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 20 - 25 min.
6 servings.

Lindaís Orange Minted Barley Wrap
 

3/4 c Barley, cooked in 2 c of Orange Juice for the 2 cups of water; drain. Toss warm barley with thickly sliced radishes, a dash of ground red pepper to taste, finely shredded orange peel, and snipped fresh mint and cilantro.

For the dressing, combine:
1/4 c orange juice,
3 T salad oil
1 T toasted sesame oil
2 T white wine vinegar
salt
pepper

Toss barley mixture with half the dressing, reserve remaining half for dipping sauce. Place on Bibb lettuce leaves, roll up and serve.

 

 

 
Sarahís Fabulous Football Dip
 

1 lb. of sausage
1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

Directions
In a large skillet, cook sausage over a medium heat until it is browned and cooked through. Mix tomatoes and cream cheese into the skillet. Stir and continue cooking the mixture over a medium heat until the cheese has melted.

Serve with tortilla chips ñ makes approximately 6 servings

 

 

 
Julie's Banana Cake
 

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 box of banana cream pudding
2 bananas, mashed
1/4 C oil
4 eggs
1 C water

Mix all of the ingredients together except for the bananas-- add them last.

Pour into a greased 13 X 9 pan
Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.

Glaze:
1 stick of butter, 11/2 C brown sugar, 2T of flour, if needed.

Heat over M heat until almost boiling, pour/spread over warm cake.
